[No one recorded anything] * Sometime before the Perfect Storm era (the early 1990s): Wollaston Blvd is created. My guess is people immediately started clamming and shipbuilding. * Sometime before the recent-past-from-perspective-of the Perfect Storm era: Wollaston Blvd becomes Quincy Shore Dr. Traffic speeds increase. * The Perfect Storm era: The Perfect Storm temporarily renders Quincy Shore Dr impassible. Nantasket is forever changed :( While riding as a backseat passenger my Nana's '86 Daytona Coupe down Quincy Shore Dr, Pall Mall burning, windows up, AC cranking, Howie Carr ranting on AM Radio, she declares to me (in the back seat) "You know Quincy Shore Drive used to be called Wollaston Boulevard"? * 2024: I share a nice memory of my Nana with the world. Winter Haven! I know that place. The “Chain of Lakes City”; 24 of its lakes are interconnected naturally or by canals, so makes for great boating. At 11:13, the “Resale Shop”, deco building on the right, Catholic thrift is the original “Prototype Publix Supermarket”, the second Publix store ever. At18:14 is Grove Roots, a great microbrewery. At 20:42 is Lake Silver where the 2022 IWWF World Water Ski Show Tournament was held. Hope you drove Cypress Gardens Blvd; perhaps the road with the most curves in all Florida, and, of course, home of LEGOLAND FLORIDA!!

I'm from the Syracuse,NY area, I had to cross that bridge pulling a 5th wheel camper to work at the nuclear plant "Calvert Cliffs". Yes. that bridge scared me! As a journeyman carpenter, i could only imagine that this bridge was built out of a 1950's erector set.

Too bad the ol skyway wasn't there.

Something they're not discussing is the fact that there are plans in the works to get rid of both tunnels. They want to expand the docks significantly both north and south of its current area and Austal is planning further expansions as well. The tunnels sit too shallow for some of the largest container ships draft as they are near the current depth of the channel.

I just finished watching the live stream of Hori's Box fort Lauderdale airport and it went right into this video watching it now it's just after 5:00. I live 5 miles from Orlando international airport always thinking about checking out the Brightline but have not yet. Always enjoy watching your travels Man you've been everywhere. Thank you. It's nice to see the view, as the train go from city to city .But has to stop watching because of all the un train conversations and people coughing. Became less interesting

You were lucky to get an unwrapped train...Several of the trainsets have ad wraps that obscure the view.

The railways of the DC - Boston megaopolis can't have this because there are too many sharp curves along the route. Acela Amtrak "high speed" probably tops 100mph max. I guess we won't get to see 200mph trains in this area in my lifetime.

The only other high-speed rail in the USA, after Acela in the Northeast.
